Hello,

My name is Victor Delcourt, I am a 19-year-old French rugby player standing 5'11" and weighing 154 lbs. Rugby has been a part of my life since I was 6 years old, when I began my journey at the Rugby Club of Roubaix. Since then, I’ve grown through every age category with consistency and passion. My commitment to this sport is absolute, and today, I’m fully dedicated to pursuing a professional future in rugby.

My Playing Experience

I’ve played key positions including 10, 11, 13, and occasionally 9 and 14, showcasing my adaptability and deep understanding of the game. My core strengths are speed, agility, game vision, and tactical kicking.

Throughout my career:

• Roubaix Senior Team: 8 matches, 6 tries, 30 points

• Roubaix Junior Year: 15 matches, 6 tries, 7 conversions, 44 points — and winner of the R3 Championship

• Geneva Junior Year: 15 matches in the second-highest French junior level, including experience at flanker

In 2023-2024, I made the decision to join a club in Geneva to challenge myself in a new rugby environment. It was an enriching experience, both on a human and sporting level. Competing for a starting place in a strong squad taught me discipline, humility, and teamwork — and I was proud to play every match of the regular season.

Why an International Experience?

Living and playing abroad is more than just a sporting ambition — it’s a life project. I believe that stepping outside of my comfort zone, discovering new cultures, and adapting to different rugby styles makes me not only a better player, but a more complete person. My season in Geneva proved to me how much I enjoy and grow from these challenges. I’m now looking forward to continuing this journey internationally, contributing to a new team with the same drive and determination that have always fueled my career.
